Little Free Library
Firefly is a Little Free Library with a BIG mission: to attract people and entice them to read! Firefly appears to float, suspended by wire and grounded by a single steel flat bar and the weight of the books. As books are added or removed, firefly lifts and bobs kinetically. At night it glows, illuminated by solar powered light tucked under the translucent roof. Like a lantern Firefly’s impact grows even greater as a part of a series, to become a neighborhood icon. Motion and light serve to engage people and inspire the real message. Momentum and illumination through knowledge.
