Greenwood Mini House
Labeled as “probably the smallest lot I’ve ever permitted” by a Senior Land Use Planner at SDCI, the owner of this project had tight restrictions to make her vision of a two-story 1,300 SF residence come to life. Allied8 knew there would be significant coordination required with SDCI house grandfathering policies all while understanding that the lot was considered a reverse corner lot where all four sides of the existing structure were non-conforming! At the end, the project met the owner’s personal needs and the design reminded all of us that #smallisthenewbig.
