Shoreline Small Multi-Family
In 2013 Sound Transit confirmed the location of future light rail stations along the Lynwood Link light rail extension. With two light rail stations proposed with Shoreline city limits, the City of Shoreline responded by updating its Zoning maps and upzoning the development potential of existing single-family neighborhoods closest to the future stations.
This Study considers the new development potential of a parcel near the future 185th Ave Shoreline Light Rail Station. It confirms that a single lot, previously zoned single-family, can now support a small apartment building which includes ground-floor lobby, covered parking, and three floors of 1 & 2-bedroom residential above.
