This project is infill on a micro level – the existing triplex has been retained and refreshed and in the empty, underutilized back yard Allied8 designed a 1,135 GSF three-story duplex building. The total lot size is 3,000 SF, in an LR2 zone. This allowed the project to maintain the character of the neighborhood, while adding density. The ground floor houses one 275 SF SEDU unit, while the upper floors house a 730 SF two-story apartment. Amenity is provided between the two buildings to encourage livability and sociability for all the tenants.
