San Juan Island Library- Feasibility
In 2019, Allied8 & Fivedot were hired by the San Juan Island Library to evaluate potential properties for a new library serving Friday Harbor and San Juan Island. Once the Library acquired the property on Spring Street, we were subsequently engaged, along with Site Workshop, to lead a community-centered design process. Through design workshops, extensive community engagement, and close collaboration with library staff, the concepts shown here emerged.
